"Hawaii Five-0" is returning to CBS after a two-week break April 1 with the episode "Kanaka Hahai," which translates to "The Hunter." The show was on a hiatus to accommodate 2016 NCAA Basketball tournament.

"Kanaka Hahai" will air 9 p.m. EDT on CBS and it will see Danny's peaceful time with his children – Grace and Charles -- taking an unexpected turn when his car gets stolen. Not one to take things lying down, the police detective will jump on to a bus and chase the thieves, thereby impressing his children.

"They're not really in jeopardy, but they get in a situation where they end up having their car stolen," showrunner Peter Lenkov told TVLine about the scene. "They go to spend a quality day with their dad and their car gets stolen for a robbery, and they chase the car.... It's a fun story that brings him closer together with his kids."

Elsewhere in the episode, the task force will unearth a deadly slave trade operation after they start investigating the mystery behind a dead body that was drifting off the coast of Oahu.

CBS has also released the synopsis for the April 8 episode titled "Malama Ka Po'e," meaning "Care for One's People" and based on the summary, Grover and his family will be the focus of the episode. Spoilers indicate that the cop's past in Chicago will come to cause trouble in the form of a mobster who comes to Oahu looking for payback.

"A mob boss from a case Grover worked 15 years ago seeks revenge and forces Grover to take his family on the run," the synopsis reads.
