On Thursday, as the clock struck past midnight, Hardik made Mahieka's birthday memorable, wishing her from the stands during the India vs Netherlands match. After India's big win, Hardik, in no time, shared a loved-up post for her.
On Instagram, Hardik shared a cosy picture with Mahieka. Hardik was shirtless while his girlfriend wore swimwear, and the couple wrapped their arms around each other in the swimming pool. He captioned the post: "Happy Birthday, my princess." Mahieka reshared it on her Instagram Stories, adding a diamond emoji and an evil eye emoji.
She also shared photos from her birthday celebration, where she wore a black outfit and posed in front of a heart-shaped birthday cake.
Hardik shared a love-up reel, wishing his gf Mahieka and penned a beautiful caption. He wrote, "Happy birthday my princess . Thank you for coming in this world 25 years ago. You are the most amazing person I know. I love you.."
Hardik also spoke about how Mahieka helped him rediscover his passion for cricket. Speaking to JioHotstar, he said, "Mahieka helped me rediscover that excitement for the game that I always had. I went behind the scenes, worked really hard, and had a good amount of batting sessions. There were days when I was on the ground for six to seven hours."
Hardik has a tattoo of Mahieka's initial on his nape. The couple were earlier rumoured to be engaged after a picture of Mahieka wearing a ring surfaced online, though she later denied the engagement rumours. Recently, Hardik and Mahieka turned heads at an event honouring three World Cup-winning teams, he men's team, the women's team, and the women's blind team. It marked one of their most prominent public appearances together, with the couple twinning in black outfits and walking hand-in-hand. During the event, Hardik also introduced Mahieka to Amitabh Bachchan.
