Women's Day is observed on 8 March every year across the world to celebrate and appreciate the fairer sex. The day is dedicated to all women, be it a mother, daughter, sister or wife.

This day is to show one's respect to women and what can be beter than dedicating some amazing songs to them.

Here are a few Hindi songs for all women:

O Ri Chiraiya

Aamir Khan's television show "Satyamev Jayate" threw light upon several social issues, especially those concerning the Indian women. One of the hit songs of the program was "O Ri Chiraiya". The song, sung by Swanand Kirkire, is about the troubles and struggles of being a girl.

Badal Pe Paon Hain

Shah Rukh Khan played the coach for a girls hockey team in "Chak De India". The film as well as its songs encouraged all the women of the country. The song "Badal Pe Paon Hain" shows the journey of the female players of the Indian hockey team who were initially discouraged in their own country.

Jiya Re

Anushka Sharma portrayed a carefree, self-dependent girl in "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The song from the film "Jiya Re" tells how to live life.

Yeh Hosla Kaise Jhuke

"Yeh Hosla Kaise Jhuke" is a song from Ayesha Takia and Gul Panag's film "Dor." The song is one of the best inspirational tracks, not only for women but for everyone who feel discouraged for some reason.

Rupaiya

Another song from Aamir Khan's "Satyamev Jayate", "Rupaiya", which was sung by Sona Mohapatra, was dedicated to women. The song is related to dowry and talks about women power. It says that a girl is not a burden, she can also earn a good life for herself as well as for the family.

Hum To Aise Hain Bhaiya

"Laaga Chunari Mein Daag", which featured Rani Mukerji and Konkona Sen Sharma, is about the journey of two sisters. One of the songs, "Hum To Aise Hain Bhaiya" is about the carefree and fun-loving two sisters from Banaras.

"Yeh Meri Kahaani" is from women-centric film "Kahaani", which featured Vidya Balan. The film actually portrayed the power of a woman.

Aali Re

Rani Mukerji-Vidya Balan starrer  "No One Killed Jessica" was a box office hit. The song "Aali Re" shows that a woman is no lesser than a man.
