Singer Miley Cyrus, who stole hearts playing Disney's Hannah Montana, turns 23 on Monday, 23 November, 2015.
Recently, the "Wrecking Ball" singer opened up about her time playing the teenage pop star, saying everything wasn't as glamorous as it appeared. Cyrus believes that playing Hannah Montana caused some sort of body dysmorphia.
Speaking to Marie Claire for its September issue, Cyrus said: "I was told for so long what a girl is supposed to be from being on that show. I was made to look like someone that I wasn't, which probably caused some body dysmorphia because I had been made pretty every day for so long, and then when I wasn't on that show, it was like, Who the f—k am I?"
These days, the singer-cum-actress is comfortable with herself, but her transformation from a Disney actress to a wild child has raised eyebrows.

Split from Liam Hemsworth: Cyrus fell in love with Liam Hemsworth on the sets of "The Last Song" in 2009 and the couple soon got engaged. But they called it quits in 2013, and although the couple did not reveal what went wrong in their relationship, it was reported that Cyrus' wild child act was one of the contributing factors.
The VMAs: Cyrus' 2013 MTV VMA performance with Robin Thicke was considered too sexual, as her act saw her making a lot of suggestive gestures with a giant foam finger.
Things did not cool down at this year's VMAs as well. The singer accidentally flashed her nipple during her hosting stint, and a number of formal complaints were filed with the FCC after the show.
Wrecking Ball video: The video for Cyrus' powerful ballad "Wrecking Ball", which was released in 2013, saw the singer riding the sphere nude, as well as suggestively licking a sledgehammer.
Interestingly, the video also crashed VEVO's record for the most views in 24 hours.
Nudity has never been an issue with the singer, as she has often stripped down for magazine covers and other photoshoots.
Sexual orientation: The singer has come out as bisexual and reportedly, her former boyfriends were kept in the loop regarding her sexual preferences.
"They both [Liam Hemsworth and Patrick Schwarzenegger] knew [about Miley's bisexuality], but it was Patrick that was really more accepting and really brought it out of her. Smoking a joint: While accepting her award for Best Video for 'Wrecking Ball' at the 2013 EMAs, Cyrus took out what looked like a joint from her handbag and smoked it on stage.
