Residents of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and a few other parts of India welcomed the weekend with heavy hail storm.
People were seen enjoying the weather, playing with hail stones and taking pictures. Though residents in North have yet not felt the sting of summer as this storm triggered cold winds all over, hailstones were still a welcome change.
On the other hand, farmers are not really pleased with it as the storm has destroyed a lot of crops causing losses. Major crops like wheat, millet, maize along with vineyards and orchards have badly been affected and have sustained heavy damage.
