Gunmen dressed in military uniforms entered a court building in Afghanistan's Balkh province on Thursday, killing the security guard and leaving seven people injured.
The attack took place inside the offices of an appellate attorney, and a clash pursued between security officials and the gunmen.
All seven injured are civilians and have been rushed to the hospital.
Blasts were also heard from the complex, according to TOLONews.
