The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) declared Class 10 or GSEB SSC results 2016 on Tuesday, May 24. As many as 10.81 lakh students had appeared for the board examination this year. 

Students can check their scores for the Class 10 exams online on the official website of GSHSEB. They can collect the hard copy of the mark sheet from their respective schools later.

The state this year recorded a pass percentage of 67.06 percent, an increase of 5.5 percent from the last year, the Indian Express reported. Girls fared better than boys by over 9 percent.

The pass percentage in Gujarati medium schools were lowest at 52.54 percent, while the English medium schools recorded a pass percentage of 88.84 percent and Hindi medium at 68.01, the Hindustan Times reported.
