After the release of GTA 5's PC version, the platform where modders are known to show off their creations, Rockstar - the company behind GTA 5 - has been rather silent about the mods and how flexible it will be with them and the people who create them.

However, Rockstar has finally spoken and has revealed what it thinks about the modification of its game and if it will eventually result in the ban. The statement from the company was a reply to a question by a player who wanted to know its take on modifications in the game.

Rockstar Support said in its reply, "Cosmetic mods are not a bannable offense. However if you require technical support after installing a mod you will need to uninstall the mod before we can help you with any issue you have, as we do not officially support Mods," reported Attack of the Fanboy.

This statement from Rockstar does not bring clarity unless the company comes up with a more detailed list where mods can be banned. But many players have reported that they were banned due to certain mods in the game that include ones like FOV alterations.

It would be really helpful for players if Rockstar comes out with a complete list of do's and don't's when it comes to modding and what would result in them getting banned.

Ragdoll on Demand Mod

A montage by YouTube user, Tyrannicon, shows Sakratt's Ragdoll on Demand mod, which as the name suggests, sends the lead character into a ragdoll. This video is silly, but hilarious.

This video could contain several cut-scenes with possible spoilers so, players who have not completed the campaign are warned against watching it.
