With six seasons and 123 episodes, the supernatural drama series, Grimm, took its viewers to a new world and introduced them to Wesens. When the show abruptly ended in March following the cancellation by NBC, the fans urged other networks to pick it up.

As of now, the television drama has not been picked up by any network, but the cast and crew seem to be very optimistic about the series renewal. Creators, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, have already teased a possible storyline for season 7.

The showrunners revealed that they are keeping their options open for the next instalment or a possible spinoff. According to them, the show will probably focus on Kelly, Diane and the triplets of Monroe and Rosalee in the new season.

"It could take on a life of its own, you never know. There are many different versions of how that conceivably could continue. At the same time, we did end it and go full circle. It's a hopeful future! Everyone's out there fighting," Greenwalt told IGN.

Renewal reasons by fans

Meanwhile, the fans of Grimm, who are popularly known as Grimmsters, have their own reasons for urging NBC or any other network, like Netflix or TNT, to renew the show. While some stated that they need answers to many of their questions, few others claimed that it helped them to have a positive attitude towards life.

It has helped me escape from the normal world and I love everything about it and there are still so many unanswered questions that need to be answered. It can't just end like that we did not even see the triplets or Kelly grow up learning everything and Nike explain him about his life. Nike and Adeline got married? There needs to be more," stated a Grimmster from Ireland.

Grimm is a great show and i would like some plot holes to be understood and closed i.e., the royals bloodline why is there blood special, did the wesen come from the other place, who was Diana talking about when she said dad at the end of the series finale was it Nick or Sean?" wrote another admirer of the show named Jamie on an online petition site called care2petitions.
