The cast and crew of "Grimm" are coming back on NBC with new twists and turns in Nick Burkhardt's (David Giuntoli) life on 30 October. The fifth season of the supernatural natural drama will take viewers on a special journey with new cast members joining the show.

One of the most important and adorable character to join the upcoming sequel will be the baby of Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee) and the protagonist.

"I would say the dynamics have certainly changed. Now Adalind's having my baby. So that's changing the dynamics quite a bit. I lose everybody so this is the one thing that keeps me around, I think," Giuntoli told Showbiz Junkies.

However, life will never be the same again for Nick in "Grimm" season 5. He lost his mother Kelly Kessler Burkhardt (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) and lady love Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch) in the last sequel, so he will be more into darkness.

"It seems to be Nick plotting revenge. I would definitely say I don't really care about being a cop anymore. I'm just like I'm doing my own Grimm thing. I want to figure out who did all of these things to me. They beheaded my mom, they killed my woman, and I want to get whoever did that," teased Giuntoli.

Meanwhile, showrunner David Greenwalt revealed that Bitsie Tulloch will reprise her role as Juliette in flashback sequences, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

NBC will air "Grimm" season 5 premiere titled "The Grimm Identity" on Friday, 30 October, at 9pm.
