Things are looking up for Meredith and Nathan, the characters essayed by Ellen Pompeo and Martin Henderson. This week's episode saw them bonding a bit more, and it seems like Meredith and Nathan could become a couple before too long.

But something that's sure to come in the way of her new romance is Maggie, who isn't too happy that Nathan rejected her. While Nathan wants Meredith to be open to Maggie about them hooking up, Meredith doesn't think it's a good idea, and this is going to spell trouble for their relationship.

"One of the things that we know about Maggie is that she is really a stickler for honesty and the truth," actress Kelly McCreary, who plays Maggie, told TV Guide, previewing Maggie and Meredith's relationship. For a long time Maggie held it against Richard that he didn't right away tell her about being her biological father, and she is going to act similarly when Meredith finally tells her about her fling with Nathan.

"To me, that's an indication of how we can expect Maggie to feel about any lack of honesty, any lack of full transparency and disclosure in a relationship — especially with somebody that she trusts and, more than trusts, really relies upon as much as Meredith," McCreary said.

The next episode is titled Falling Slowly and it will see Alex trying to do the right thing, but luck isn't smiling on him. "Jackson and April adjust to their "new normal" with the baby," the synopsis reads. "While Meredith and Nathan establish what's going on between them, Amelia questions the status of her relationship with Owen."

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays on ABC.
