Meredith took a big step in the previous episode of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" when she decided to go on a date with Will. Although a 17-hour surgery ruined her date plans, she still got time to spend with the military doctor when he offered to drop her home.
In the next episode, which will air Thursday, Will and Meredith will go on an actual date, which will end with him in her bed. However, things do not end well for Will, as a promo video for "When It Hurts So Bad" shows Meredith asking the very naked Will to leave her house.
"Why is she screaming?" Maggie asks Will, but he doesn't have an answer.
We'll have to wait till Thursday to find out why Meredith doesn't want Will in her house. One possible explanation could be that she just freaked out for sleeping with someone other than Derek, who was supposed to be the love of her life. Will is her first man Meredith has dated since Derek's death, and she might have realised she's not ready to meet other men.
Meanwhile, a section of fans believe it might have something to do with Meredith's children.
"I bet one of the kids wandered in and caught them sleeping together. I honestly prefer this, Shonda [Rhimes] is making it look like Meredith doesn't even have kids anymore. Like isn't the youngest one supposed to be like a year old or something?" a fan wrote.
The summary for "When It Hurts So Bad" reads: "Meredith takes a step forward with Will but quickly regrets it. Maggie senses a disconnection with Andrew, and Amelia reevaluates her relationship with Owen. Meanwhile, Catherine comes into town and really shakes things up with April and Jackson."
