Sir Martin Moore-Bick was forced to defend his inquiry into the Grenfell Tower fire during a public meeting on July 6 in London. While Moore-Birk was assuring one audience member that he was not going to do a hatchet job on behalf of the government, another audience member interrupted, and drew comparisons to the Hillsborough investigation. At least 80 people were killed on June 14, when the Grenfell Tower in West London caught fire in the middle of the night.
