Greenpeace activists climbed the Eiffel Tower to unveil a banner in protest against Marine Le Pen. The group believes the far-right candidate is a threat to the French values of liberty, equality and fraternity. A dozen Greenpeace activists were detained for questioning, police sources said. Pariss police chief called emergency talks on security over the protest which happened in broad daylight.
