When "Grandfathered" returns on Fox with episode 2 "Dad Face" at 8pm on Tuesday, 6 October, it might focus on the relationship between Sara Kingsley (Paget Brewster) and Vanessa (Christina Milian).
After meeting his son Gerald (Josh Peck) and grandchild Edie, Jimmy Martino (John Stamos) reunites with his former lover in the first episode of the comedy drama.
While struggling to adjust with his newly found family, the restaurant owner will make some efforts to unite the family members with the help of his son in the second episode of the show.
The official synopsis of "Dad Face" read: "Gerald surprises his father with plans for the family's first trip to the beach, which excites everyone - except Jimmy. So Peck's character decides to bail on the outing in favour of a glamorous pool party nearby and he drags his son along with him, leaving Vanessa and Sara."
In the absence of Jimmy and Gerald, Brewster's character and Edie's mother will get to know each other. But to know whether the conversation will turn out for better or for worse, fans will have to wait until 6 October.
