Grammys 2015 Nominations will kick off live on "CBS This Morning" from 8.30 am ETTwitter/Grammys

The nominations for 57th Grammy Awards will be announced live on Friday, 5 December, along with a special concert "A Very GRAMMY Christmas", which includes performance of Ariana Grande, Big Sean and new-comer Sam Smith among others.

The event will kick off live on "CBS This Morning" from 8:30am ET with the announcement of nominations for four categories, which could be Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best World Music Album. The rest of the nominations will be declared later in the day by various celebrities.

While the complete list of 82 out of 83 nominations will be posted on GRAMMY.com by 2 pm ET, the nominations for "Album of the Year" award will be revealed during the one-hour special concert "A Very GRAMMY Christmas".

Besides Grande, Sean and Smith, nine-time Grammy winner Mary J Blige, seven-time winner Pharrell Williams, three-time winners Tim McGraw and Maroon 5, will also perform in the concert.

The updates on Grammy 2015 Nominations will be posted on official website and social media platforms Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The live streaming of the holiday-themed concert will be available on CBS.

With just a few hours left, Smith is expected to be nominated for three main categories - Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Other predicted nominees include Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Eric Church, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Iggy Azalea and FKA Twigs.
