Motorola's much awaited Google Nexus 6 pre-order service just took off in India today (18 November).

The American company's exclusive e-commerce affiliate, Flipkart has just begun the Google Nexus 6 pre-order service with exclusive launch day offers.

Nexus 6 (both 32GB & 64GB) models -- cloud white & midnight blue -- are now available for ₹43,999 and ₹48,999 respectively.

Flipkart is also offering exchange offer on older phones with discounts up to ₹10,000 and prospective buyers will also stand to get ₹1500 cash-back  on buying phone via EMI schemes with EMI via HDFC/ICICI and ₹2100 worth of discounts on pre-selected e-books. [More Information, HERE]

That's not all. Nexus 6 buyers will get Flipkart First service subscription free for three months.

However, there is no word whether Nexus 6 will also be available for purchase at the official Google Play store. As of the now, Device section of the store carries a 'coming soon' tag.

The report comes just days after some rumours indicated that Nexus 6 release for the Indian market may be pushed to early 2015.

Last week technology blog, Gizmodo India broke the news that Motorola had  postponed the launch of Nexus 6 to first quarter 2015 in the subcontinent owing to production woes.

But now it looks like Indian fans have to wait just a few more days to get their hands on the much awaited Nexus 6.

Besides India, Google Nexus 6 pre-order service is also set to take-off on 18 November in select European regions as well.

For the uninitiated, Nexus 6 sports 5.96-inch QHD (2560x1400p) AMOLED display and ships with new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, Qualcomm 805 series Snapdragon CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB inbuilt memory, 13.0-megapixel main camera, a 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front and 3220 mAh battery.
