Google Nexus 5 co-developer LG is reportedly planning to release the newly unveiled phone in India next week.

Multiple mobile phone retailers across major metros - Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai - are readying to receive shipments of Nexus 5 stocks in a few days time. Smartphone maker LG will initially release the 16GB variant for ₹29,990, almost ₹1000 more than Google Play store's offer price, reported BGR India.

Online shop, Snapdeal has already begun to sell the new Google Nexus 5 for ₹29,999, whereas Google Play, Flipkart and Saholic have just listed the phone as 'coming soon' on their websites.

The new Nexus 5 has received overwhelming response in the international markets, with stores going out of smartphone stocks just hours after the release. With a competitive price of ₹29,990, the feature-rich Nexus phone is also expected to become a huge hit in the price-conscious Indian market.

Nexus 5 sports a 4.595-inch full HD (1080x1920p) IPS display, with a pixel density of 445 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the new Android v4.4 KitKat OS, powered by 2.3GH Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core CPU, aptly backed by 450 MHz Adreno 330 graphics engine, 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB inbuilt storage.
