Google Nexus 5 Log File Leak; More Specification Revealed

Ever since the rumoured Nexus 5 phone got disclosed at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) website early this month, only a few specs of Nexus 4 successor have been known. Now, a tech blog Myce has got hold of the alleged log file of the Nexus 5 running on Kit Kat OS, revealing almost all features.

The website claimed that the uncovered digital document is10 MB in size and contained more than 133,000 lines. It revealed that the upcoming Nexus 5(LG-D820) aka Hammerhead runs on the newly unveiled Android v4.4 Kit Kat (Key Lime Pie) OS, build version KRS74H.

Nexus 5 will reportedly sport a 5.0-inch (4.97, to be precise) full HD screen boasting pixel density of 442 ppi (pixels per inch) and pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM,16 GB inbuilt memory and 2300 mAh battery.

The log-sheet further revealed that the Nexus 5 would house an 8.0-MP main camera on the rear side and 1.2-MP secondary camera on the front. On connectivity front, the smartphone will support 4G/LTE network, NFC (Near Filed Communication), GPS, Dual Wi-Fi band, and Bluetooth v4.0 (with Low Energy).  

Word on the street is that the South Korean co-developer, LG has reportedly used company's flagship model G2 design on the Nexus 5, but stripped few features to keep costs under check.

The rumoured Nexus 5 is expected to be unveiled on 14 October along with the new Android OS version Kit Kat.
