Earlier this week, Google's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) affiliate LG released Nexus 5X in India through various online and offline stores, but there was no word on the availability of its phablet variant Nexus 6P made by Huawei.
Now, the Chinese company has revealed that the new Nexus 6P will hit stores in India next month.
"The first batch of the smartphone (Nexus 6P) will be available in India starting first week of November. We are working closely with Flipkart and our retail partners on the availability of the smartphones to the Nexus 6P fans," said P. Sanjeev, vice president (Sales), Huawei and Honor (India), Consumer Business Group.
Soon after the official launch of Huawei Nexus 6P (& LG Nexus 5X) on 13 October in India, it was available for pre-order on online through Flipkart and physical retail chains in India. The e-commerce site reportedly received overwhelming response from the public often resulting in out-of-stocks banner popping up on the site many times in the last two weeks. The reaction was also same in some brick-and-mortar stores in metros across India too. This positive response probably has to do with Huawei Nexus 6P being the Google's first ultra-premium vanilla Android phone. It boasts all-metal body and sport a 5.7-inch Quad HD display on the front.
Under-the-hood, it runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS powered by Snapdragon 810 v2.1 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB inbuilt storage, a 3450 mAh battery, 12.3MP camera on the rear-side and an 8MP snapper on the front.
As of now, prospective buyers can still pre-book Huawei Nexus 6P on Flipkart (HERE).
