The Middletons will return to the Hallmark Channel on Saturday with a Halloween special of "Good Witch".

The two-hour special will be aired on 24 October, and it will see the magical abilities of the family being tested by a handsome stranger who is visiting Grey House.

"The first time [Cassie meets the newcomer], she can't sense anything. She can't figure out if he's mean or a good person," Bailee Madison, the actress who essays the role of Grace told the US edition of International Business Times. "Cassie and Grace are very similar where they always like to believe the good in people. But for the first time, Cassie cannot figure it out, and that's very troublesome for her because that's [one of her gifts]. You'll get to see her gifts and abilities be tested."

According to the actress, the handsome stranger isn't the only one threatening to ruin Halloween for the family. Reportedly, Grace will encounter bullies in school and this will force her to forgo several holiday traditions after her "witchy abilities" are mocked in school.

As for what to expect in season 2 when the series returns in 2016, Madison said that there have been talks of Grace finally getting some romance in life. The series is still filming episode 4 of season 2, but Madison confirmed that there have been talks of bringing a special someone for Grace.

"Obviously [a romance] is something I push for all the time!" Madison revealed. "I'm like, 'We need more romance for Grace!' But we just started filming episode 4 -- it's still early on in the season -- so I don't know where [the writers are] going to go with it, but there have been some talks about some new people popping up for her!"

The official synopsis for the two-hour special reads:

Cassie and the town of Middleton prepare for the annual Harvest Festival; Cassie transforms Grey House into a haunted house; a handsome stranger stays at Grey House.

The two-hour "Good Witch Halloween" special will be aired on Saturday, 24 October at 9 p.m. EDT on the Hallmark Channel.
