Dhaka, Sep 18 (ANI): Bangladesh people's resurgence platform, Gonojagoron Mancha has called for speedy trial of war criminals, accused of genocide during 1971 liberation struggle. Spokesperson of Gonojagoron Mancha, Imran H Sarkar, said that the war criminals should not be acquitted due to the present loopholes within the legal system of the country. A trustee and member secretary of the war of liberation museum in Dhaka, Mofidul Hoque, urged the youth to take up the matter. Meanwhile, a professor of Dhaka University, Mahfuza Khanam, said that the punishments awarded to the war criminals were in accordance to the national law.
