New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) founder Subash Ghisingh, who spearheaded the Gorkhaland movement in the 1980s, died at the age of 78. He was suffering from liver ailments and cancer and breathed his last at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Ghisingh had founded GNLF in 1980 and was the chairman of the Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council in West Bengal from 1988 to 2008. He had led the Gorkhaland movement to demand for a separate state for ethnic Gorkha people living in Darjeeling district of West Bengal.
