Gionee Officially Launches Ultra-Slim Elife S7 with Android Lollipop OS in India; Price, Specifications

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has launched the much-awaited new-generation ultra-slim Elife S7 in Hyderabad, India.

As mentioned above, USP of the new Gionee phone is its slim uni-body design as Elife S7 measures just 5.5mm in thickness. It has to be noted that its rear-side is covered by airplane grade aluminum magnesium alloy panel which not only provides a sturdy body, but also give the touch of premium. To further increase its durability, the company has coated additional layer of Gorilla Glass 3 shield (front and back), so that the phone can survive daily wear and tear.

Under the hood, 5.2-inch Elife S7 houses a 64-bit class MediaTek TRU Octa-core SoC (System on Chip) powered by the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop (with Amigo 3.0 UI), 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2750 mAh battery.

On photography front, it ships with a 13.0-megapixel camera on the rear-side with full HD video recording ability a and an 8.0-megapixel snapper on the front.

The company has confirmed that Gionee Elife S7 will be made available in black, white, and blue colour models for ₹25,999 in India.

Competition:

With a sub-₹25,000 price-tag, it will be up against the popular brands such as OnePlus One, Xiaomi Mi4, Lenovo Vibe X2, Huawei Honor 6, HTC Desire 820, Lenovo Sisley S90 and the recently released Samsung Galaxy E7, E5, A5 series.
