New Delhi, Dec 27 (ANI): Army Chief General Dalbir Singh on Saturday left for Assam to take stock of the situation following the attacks by the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit group) on Tuesday. General Singh had earlier on Friday met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to review the security situation in Assam and stated that the operations against Bodo militants would be intensified. Earlier this week, NDFB (S) militants had killed over 80 people in the Sonitpur, Kokrajhar and Chirang districts of Assam.
