The craze for the newly launched Pokémon Go game is evident with hundreds of Android and iOS device owners getting hooked to it, but users of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile devices have been deprived of this fun. Now, Windows fans have demanded that the game be made available to the Windows 10 Mobile platform.

A group of gamers has started a petition — Develop Pokémon GO for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile — on Change.org, demanding that the creators of the game, Niantic and The Pokémon Company, bring it onto Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. More than 40,000 supporters had signed the petition at the time of filing this report.

Here is what the petition says:

"With the above stated, the community composed of millions of loyal fans and users of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile humbly request Pokémon GO creators, Niantic, Inc., The Pokémon Company, and Nintendo Co., Ltd., to release Pokémon GO on Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile alongside their Android and iOS counterparts."

Millions of devices across the world run Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile operating systems.

Pokemon Go is an augmented reality game that lets players catch Pokémon. It was released in the United Stated, Australia and New Zealand last week, and is expected to be available in other regions soon.
