While fans all around the world are awaiting for the fifth season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" (GOT), Indian fans of the thriller series were shocked to hear about the Indian version of the hit series.

The Indian remake will reportedly be titled "Rani Mahal", in which Sakshi Tanwar will be seen as Daenerys Targaryen, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Anita Hassanandani as Cersei Lannister, while "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaa" actor Parth Samthaan as Jon Snow.

Meanwhile, many "GOT" fans in India claim that the series will not be successful if it is remade in Hindi.

Check out the reasons why Indian version of "GOT" will be a flop in India:

Plot

Most Indian shows are based on mother-in-law vs daughter-in-law storyline, where fights and crimes within a family are depicted. However, "GOT" has got a completely different theme; it tells the story of seven kingdoms and a throne. However, if the story has to cater to the interests of the Indian audience, the entire plot has to Indianised, which will not be a remake, but just an adaptation of the HBO series with a different plot.

Star Cast

After the star cast of the new series was announced, twitterati reacted by making fun of Sakshi and the show, "Rani Mahal". Therefore, the success of the remake series is doubtful as audience is not ready to accept it even before it went into production.

Nudity

India is known for its bans and censorship and "GOT" has quite a lot of nudity and sex scenes throughout.

Since sex and nudity are banned in India, fans are wondering as to how the Indian makers will show the bold contents, which are so important for HBO's globally-popular fantasy series.

Even if the makers are daring enough to shoot some bold scenes, it is definite that the Indian censor board will remove the scenes even before the series is aired.

Budget

The Indian version of the series cannot definitely match with the budget of the international series, which is shot in Northern Ireland, Malta, Croatia, Iceland and Morocco.
