Filming of HBO's "Game of Thrones" is currently underway, and according to spoilers doing the rounds, viewers will see the Tyrell army marching into King's Landing in the upcoming season.
Watchers on the Wall, a website that describes itself as a "Game of Thrones Community for Breaking News, Casting, and Commentary", posted online photographs from the Girona, Spain set that showed two rows of soldiers with shields belonging to House Tyrell. Interestingly, Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell, was also said to be in Girona at the time.
The previous season saw Margaery and Loras being imprisoned by High Sparrow, and Olenna will be furious that Mace Tyrell has not done anything to free his children.
"We've learned that Mace Tyrell will be headed home to Westeros. He won't receive a warm welcome from his mother, though. Olenna Tyrell will be angry with Mace over Loras and Margaery's imprisonment, shouting at him for doing nothing about it," the spoiler forum noted.
However, it is not immediately known if it is the Queen of Thorns or Mace who sends the soldiers into King's Landing.
The site also reported that fans will finally learn the origin of Hodor in the upcoming season. Kristian Nairn's character has not uttered anything other than his name in these past five seasons, and according to the actor it could have something to do with winter.
"George [RR Martin] calls on mythology in his writing," Nairn told Huffpost Live. "Does he do anything by accident? I don't know. It could be part of the whole 'winter is coming' thing; the others, the actual White Walkers -- he could somehow be connected to them."
The actor was referring to the fan theory that Hodor could be associated with the White Walkers, or that he could even be the Great Other, the god of darkness and cold.
"Game of Thrones" season 6 will return to HBO in April 2016.
