New Delhi, May 23 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Convener Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to 14-day judicial custody in the defamation case filed by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Gadkari. Kejriwal was sent to Tihar Jail after he refused to pay a personal bond as directed by the court. The next hearing is on June 6. He has already spent two nights in judicial custody after he refused to pay the personal bond saying it was against AAP's principles. Kejriwal had alleged that Gadkari is one of the most corrupt leaders of India following which the BJP leader had moved court.
