Rajouri, Jan 01 (ANI): Four months since Jammu and Kashmir was ravaged by floods, the poor are still waiting for their share of compensation to rebuild their houses as the cold weather makes life difficult for them.Hundreds of people were killed and thousands of villages devastated by the worst flooding in decades in the Kashmir valley in September. A flood victim, Talib Sen, said the benefits of several schemes introduced by the government in the aftermath of the floods never reached them. Another flood victim, Abdar Rashid, echoed Sen’s sentiment and said the legislators were least bothered about their woes.
