New Delhi, Jan 19 (ANI): Former UPA minister Krishna Tirath on Monday met BJP President Amit Shah and joined the party. Tirath said that she was impressed by the ideology of the party and added that she would be working towards the welfare of people. Tirath also said that her responsibilities shall be decided by the BJP's central leadership but her focus will mainly be at development. Krishna Tirath has served as women child and development minister in the UPA Cabinet. According to reports, BJP may field her in the upcoming Delhi assembly elections.
