Ford has introduced its revamped version of its popular-selling car Figo on Monday with a price tag starting ₹3.85 lakh for petrol variants.

"The Ford Figo is a big game-changer for us and has won the trust of customers as a reliable, substantial vehicle with outstanding value. With the addition of all new exciting features in the New Figo, we believe our customers will truly find that Change is a wonderful thing," said Michael Boneham, president and managing director of Ford India.

The new Figo integrates several changes including an enhanced Kinetic design, redesigned bumper, headlamp design and with ten other styling elements. The Kinetic design is also carried into the interiors. The car will be available into new colours - Bright Yellow and Kinetic Blue.

"With the New Figo we have celebrated change by carefully listening to our customers and enhancing it with smart new features and improved looks. The New Figo will definitely add to Ford's amazing growth story in India," said Anurag Mehrotra, vice president, Marketing, Ford India.

The vehicle also sports a hexagonal front grill, new instrument panel colour and steering column mounted audio controls. The company claims an improvement in the engine capacity and offers a two year or 100,000 km warranty. The power technology and the engine remain the same as that of the older version.

The revamped versions are priced with a difference of ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 with the older models. The base model of the petrol variant is priced at ₹3.85 lakhs and the top end model 1.2 Titanium is priced at ₹5.02 lakhs. The diesel model is priced starting from ₹4.82 lakhs and the top end model is priced at ₹6.00 lakhs.

The company has also expanded their dealer network in the country by 40 percent in order to support the growing number of Figo products .Figo currently has 230 sales and service outlets in 123 cities across India.
