Manga fans of "Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma" loved the anime counterpart of the popular series. Not only was it true to the book, it was great and as thrilling as the original manga.

Now with the second season of the anime announced, as stated by Inquisitr, fans are looking forward to the new chapter of the story and what new elements it will consist of.

According to Inquisitr, fans have been speculating what new story arcs will be included in Season 2 of "Food Wars" and it seems that The Stagiaire and Moon Banquet Festival arcs are the top contenders.

The Stagiaire Arc is the fifth story arc in "Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma" manga. It explores the events of Stagiaire, which is similar to Tōtsuki Friendship and Rapport Training Camp, founded to enrol the students who didn't make it to Tōtsuki Culinary Academy.

After passing through the Stagiaire event, the students participate in Tōtsuki Culinary Academy's first official festival known as the Moon Banquet Festival. In this event, students set up stalls to demonstrate their cooking skills to the customers. The event goes on for five days.

However, before the event starts, the students meet the alumni from the school in another event called Autumn Leaf Viewing. The first year students get to know their seniors and potential competitors with whom they will participate in "Food Wars." The best eight students from 43rd Tōtsuki Autumn Election meet with the Elite Ten Council.

However, apart from these two story arcs, there are numerous other plots and sub-stories in the manga, which the writers of the anime series might decide to incorporate in next season of "Food Wars." Hence, which of the stories will make it to the small screen, will be seen only once Season 2 airs.
