Mumbai, July 11 (ANI): The incessant heavy rainfall along with high tide threw normal life in Mumbai out of gear on Friday as several parts of the city and suburbs remained flooded. Following the incessant rain, chronic flooding spots like Hindmata, Mahim junction, Kurla west and Chembur have been waterlogged in Mumbai. The BMC disaster management however has maintained that the situation is under control. It has been raining incessantly since the last two days in Mumbai and the catchment area of the lakes has hit a 5-year low with the BMC is planing to increase the water cut to 30 per cent.
