European firm, Fly Mobile has launched an affordable Android smartphone F41+ in Indian market with a price-tag of ₹4,999.

Amidst myriad high end smartphones taking over the market, the common man is still waiting for an affordable option that can make his life easy. We have designed Fly F40+ to fulfill this dream of the people." said Rahul Goel, chief executive officer, Fly Mobile, India.
"Fly has always manufactured products that bring a change in people's life and we will continue to do so to add value to the community," He added.
Fly F40+ sports a 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen with 480x800p display resolution and houses a 1GHz processor with 1GB RAM, 512MB ROM, 180MB user memory which can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.
The new Fly smartphone runs on a three generation old Android v2.3 Gingerbread OS which is a bit disappointment considering the fact the rival firms are offering their low-cost smartphones with newer v4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Other mentionable features are that it packs a 3.0-megapixel camera on rear side and a VGA camera at the front.
