Before Motorola could officially announce the release date of Moto X Style in India, Flipkart has jumped the gun by revealing the launch date of the flagship smartphone.

Flipkart, Motorola's e-commerce partner, has confirmed that the new Moto X Style will be launched on Thursday, 8 October. 

"Beautility lies in being free, Get ready to party in flat 15 minutes flat with Moto X Style on the 8th of October 2015 Stay tuned", reads the Flipkart's dedicated Moto X Style page.

Moto X Style was originally unveiled along with Moto X Play in July. The latter got released in India on 15 September, and now the former is set to hit stores this week.

Moto X Style sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display and runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS backed by 3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage and a 3000 mAh battery.

It comes packed with Motorola's custom mobile computing system integrated with 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 (Hexa-core) CPU (MSM8992), natural language processor and contextual computing processor.
