Flipkart's much-publicised sales event called Big Billion Day 2015 is all set to kick off at 12:00 am on Tuesday, 13 October. It will end on the night of Saturday, 17 October.

The popular Indian online retailer is expected to come up with exciting offers spread across 70 product categories during the five-day event.

Here is the itinerary of the event:

Day 1 (13 October): Fashion

Day 2 (14 October): Home & Appliances

Day 3 (15 October): Mobiles & Accessories

Day 4 (16 October): Electronics & Automotive

Day 5 (17 October): Books and More

Apparel online retailer Myntra, which has been bought by Flipkart, will also take part in the event and here is its itinerary:

Day 1 (13 October): Opening Ceremony

Day 2 (14 October): Sportswear Special Day

Day 3 (15 October): Casual Wear Day

Day 4 (16 October): Ethnic Wear Day

Day 5 (17 October): Now or Never

Flipkart was criticised for its Big Billion Day sale last year after the event was dogged by problems, including complaints of cheating on discount, wrong pricing and site crashes. But the company is said to be working hard this time around to ensure a smooth five-day sales.

"We are soaring our capacity, and are actually adding manpower including a new management team to be there around the clock. We are doing a bunch of other things too, to make sure the consumer experience doesn't suffer," Myntra's CEO Ananth Narayanan told Financial Express

However, the Big Billion Days programme is an only-app event, which means you can't enjoy benefits from Flipkart website.
