Thiruvananthapuram, July 23 (ANI): A fishermen forum from Kerala conducted a signature campaign demanding Narendra Modi-led government for a separate ministry to monitor issues related to fisherfolk. BJP leader O Rajagopal kick-started the campaign, urging central government to take back permits to foreign vessels to fish in Indian seas as it would affect country___s fishermen. President of National Fishworkers___ Forum in Thiruvananthapuram, T Peter, said they would hold a national level meeting to create an action plan against the Modi government, if their demands were not met. Meanwhile, Peter said Modi___s Bharatiya Janata Party did not fulfill its promises made in the manifesto of creating a separate ministry.
