The first look of Karthi's "Kaashmora," which is also spelled as "Kashmora," was released on Thursday, Aug. 18. The makers unveiled several posters of the multilingual at 12.01 am.
Karthi has donned a never-seen before getup of a warrior. The actor looks impressive with a tonsured head, thick beard and moustache. The audience have liked his avatar and are praising him for taking a break from his usual roles for this challenging project.
The movie is set in different times, something like Telugu blockbuster "Magadheera" and has a period portion running for approximately 90 minutes. Karthi will be reportedly seen in three roles, including warrior Raj Nayak's character in period portion.
Nayanthara is the female lead in "Kaashmora" and she too will be seen in multiple roles, including Rathina Mahadevi, an egoistic princess. Sri Divya is the second female lead in the film, which has Vivek, Siddharth Vipin and others in the cast.
Santhosh Narayanan is the music director of "Kaashmora" and he has scored four songs for the film. All the four tracks belong to different genres. Om Prakash is the cinematographer of the flick and the first look promises the flick will be a visual treat.
VH Sabu Joseph is the editor of the multilingual flick, which is likely to be released in four languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
"Kaashmora" is made on a budget of Rs. 60 crore and it is most likely to hit screens for Diwali. Meanwhile, many celebs have appreciated the first look of the flick. Find their comments about the poster below:
