Soon after his return from the Olympic Inaugural ceremony in London, filmmaker Karan Johar revealed another teaser poster of his much-awaited upcoming film "Student of the year" on Twitter.
The poster showed three students sitting on a bench with their names written at the back of their uniform jerseys.
"The Student Of The Year (SOTY) teaser poster!!!" he tweeted.
The film stars three fresh faces, Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt who will debut with Dharma Production's forthcoming film.
"Introducing SIDHARTH MALHOTRA in STUDENT OF THE YEAR!!! " Karan Johar tweeted with a new poster of the model-turned-actor, who essays the role of Abhimanyu in the film.
"The 3 kids in SOTY are lovely!!! Sid has a silent strong charm....Varun has a real fun bratty appeal...Alia is vivacious and super cute!!!" the ecstatic director tweeted earlier.
The film also stars Rishi Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor and his wife Gautami in key roles. Karan has also roped in his lucky charms, close friends Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol for special appearance like he usually does in most of his films.
Though nothing much has been revealed about the characters and the story-line, the film has successfully built much excitement amongst the youth following the release of its teasers.
The film is slated for an October 19 release and the trailer will be launched on Aug 2.
