A fire broke out at Mantralaya, the Maharashtra state secretariat complex, in south Mumbai on Saturday, Fire Force officials told PTI.

The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the eight storied building

The building was immediately evacuated and fire engines were rushed to the spot.

The fire was brought under control within minutes.

The fourth floor houses the offices of the Tribal Development and Town Planning Department.

A massive fire that broke out at the Mantralaya in June last year caused extensive damage to the building and destroyed thousands of files.
