In the recent episodes, Sonakshi was seen telling Dev that she would marry Ritwick in a months' time. Sonakshi's decision shattered Dev, who was finding it hard to come to terms with his ladylove moving on. A depressed Dev then started ignoring his mother Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar), who was responsible for the couple's breakup.
According to reports, in the upcoming episodes, Sonakshi's family will gear up for Sonakshi and Ritwick's engagement and Dev will decide to attend the engagement ceremony. ""The Bose family will gear up for Sonakshi-Rithvik's engagement. Sonakshi will invite Dev to her engagement. Dev once had told Sonakshi that he will meet her for the last time at her engagement, hence he will decide to go to her engagement ceremony," a source told Tellychakkar.com.
The report said that just when Sonakshi would slip the ring into Ritwick's finger, Dev would fall unconscious. This would eventually ruin the engagement ceremony of Ritwick and Sonakshi. Sonakshi, who still loves Dev deeply, would then take him to his home where Ishwari would be shocked to see her son's condition. Will Dev's devastating condition make Ishwari let Dev and Sonakshi reunite?
