A list of celebrity contestants participating in the reality show "Bigg Boss" Season 7 has been recently released.

The list includes Anita Advani, television star couple Apoorva and Shilpa Agnihotri, Kushal Tandon, Hazel Keech, Gauhar Khan, Rajat Rawail, Pratyusha Banerjee, VJ Andy, Armaan Kohli, Tanisha (Kajol's sister), Elie Evram, Ratan Rajput and Sangram Singh, reported The Times of India.

According to reports, Kamya Punjabi, best known for her role as Sindoora in the telly soap "Banoo Main Teri Dulhan", is also among the contestants in the show.

Anita Advani, who is Rajesh Kahanna's live-in partner, is a surprise entry to the celebrity participants. She is better known for the infamous property conflict with Khanna's family post the superstar's death.

Coming to the other participants, there were initial reports about actress Kajol's little sister Tanisha being considered for the reality show, which had led to tensions in the superstar household. Apparently, Kajol, her husband Ajay Devgn and mom Tanuja were not quite happy with Tanisha's decision to participate in the show, known mostly for featuring celebrities with bad profiles.

"There were 30 contestants, out of which 15 were finalised to enter the 'Bigg Boss' house. They reached the house on Saturday morning," a source told TOI.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan, the host of the show, recently spoke about the plight of the participants on the reality show.

"I am sure they are going to have problems. But if they get along fine, tasks will be on a level that they will be forced to be broken," he said, according to IANS.

"They (inmates) are doing a big favour by letting you in their house, lives, and personal space. It is a very big thing. So much you can learn from this. It's easy to say he or she was wrong, but when we are there in that situation, you think I would have reacted like this."

The show will be aired on Sunday, 15 September and will have 15 contestants locked up in the "Bigg Boss" house for 104 days.
