As part of Filmfare Middle East magazine's fifth anniversary, Bollywood actress Kajol and Malayalam superstar Nivin Pauly were honoured in a star studded ceremony at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on Saturday, 12 December.
The grand event organised along with the Dubai International Film Festival, was also attended by King Khan Shah Rukh Khan and his "Diwale" team, who are awaiting the release of the much anticipated movie.
SRK and Kajol danced to the romantic hit song "Gerua" and "'Manma Emotion Jaage" with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
The evergreen romantic couple was also seen re-enacting their popular romantic scene from "Diwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" during the event, enthralling the audience.
"Shah Rukh-ji, I'm a huge, huge fan of yours. Right now I'm standing in front of you, and I can't feel happier. We are just waiting to see you and Kajol ma'am onscreen, and the magic once again," Nivin said while receiving the award. Nivin is currently in Dubai for the shooting his upcoming Malayalam film "Jacobinte Swargarajyam".
The magazine also honoured British-Emirati filmmaker Ali Mostafa, pop star Bappi Lahiri (Lifetime Achievement award) and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan during the function.
