Producer Prerna Arora, who runs the production house KriArj Entertainment, has been reportedly arrested in connection to an alleged fraud involving crores of rupees.
According to reports, Prerna has been arrested by the Economic Offences Wing of the Mumbai Police on Saturday. She has been nabbed after film distributor, Vashu Bhagnani accused her of cheating him of Rs 16 crore.
The complaint was in regard to the movie Fanney Khan, co–produced by KriArj Entertainment, for which according to Bhagnani, he was not credited as the distributor, causing a breach in the agreement.
Some rumours also suggest that multiple passports and pan cards have also been recovered from Prerna. She was involved with many big movies including Padman, Toilet Ek Prem Katha and Rustom.
