The festive season is just around the corner and the auto makers in the country are already up with discounts and freebies to woo the customers. Renault is one amongst them.
Renault has slashed the ex-showroom price of its fast moving Duster in the country and the entry level Duster RxE diesel is now priced at ₹8.18 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). In addition to this, the company is also offering 2+2 years or 80,000 km extended warranty.
The current offer will be available only till 15 September and the Duster buyers will also get free insurance, an assured gift worth ₹20,000 and free roadside assistance for four years.
As of now, the offer is limited to the base variant of Duster and interested buyers can book their SUV by 15 September.
Renault, which recently celebrated the second anniversary of its Duster in India has been rumoured to bring its Duster 4X4 to the country in October this year.
Duster 4X4, an SUV, which is already in sales in the international markets, will be available in three modes – two-wheel drive, auto and four-wheel lock.
Globally, Duster 4X4 is sold with diesel and petrol engines. The diesel model is powered by K9K 1.5-litre four-cylinder eight-valve diesel engine, which can generate a power of 107 hp and peak torque of 240 Nm. The petrol version is powered by a 1.6 litre four-cylinder engine, which offers a max power of 105 hp and peak torque of 148 Nm and both the engines come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
India bound version of new Duster is expected to come with features like three-spoke steering wheel, touch-screen infotainment system, steering-mounted Controls, 2-DIN stereo system, rear air-conditioning vents, keyless entry and rear-parking sensors.
