Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal

Udhayanidhi Stalin's second outing, "Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal", is all set to hit screens on 14 February as a Valentine's Day special treat for fans.

The romantic comedy entertainer is directed by SR Prabhakaran of "Sundarapandian" fame. Nayanthara plays the female lead for the first time opposite Udhayanidhi. Santhanam teams up with the actor again to provide a laugh riot post the success of "Oru Kal Oru Kannadi".

The other cast members include Chaya Singh, Saranya Ponvannan, Sunder Ramu, "Aadukalam" Naren and Mayilsamy.

"Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal" is produced by Udhayanidhi under his Red Giant Movies banner. The film's music is by Harris Jeyaraj, while cinematography is handled by Balasubramaniem.

Nimirndhu Nil

Jayam Ravi-Amala Paul's "Nimirndhu Nil" will hit theatres on 14 February.

The film, directed by Samuthirakani, will have Jayam Ravi playing a dual role. Actor Sarath Kumar has a pivotal role in the film.

"Nimirndhu Nil" is produced by Vasans Visual Ventures and its music is composed by GV Prakash.

Aaha Kalyanam

"Aaha Kalyanam", the official Tamil remake of Hindi film "Band Baaja Baaraat", is expected to release on 21 February or 28 February.

The film was initially planned for a 7 February release but has been reportedly pushed to another date as there are several releases in the first two weeks of February.

"Aaha Kalyanam", a romantic comedy entertainer, is directed by debutant A Gokul Krishna and produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films (YRF). With the film, YRF (Bollywood's popular production house) is making a foray into the Tamil film industry.

Nani of "Naan Ee" fame and Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor are reprising the roles played by Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the original version.

"Aaha Kalyanam" has music by Dharan Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Loganathan Srinivasan and editing by Bavan Sreekumar.

Pannaiyarum Padminiyum

Vijay Sethupathi's "Pannaiyarum Padminiyum" is all set to hit screens on 7 February.

The film is a comedy entertainer based on a short film under the same title. Directed by Arun Kumar, the film is about an old man and his love for his car - Premier Padmini. Vijay Sethupathi plays the driver. 

The film is produced by MR Ganesh, while cinematography is handled by Gokul Benoy and editing by A Sreekar Prasad.

Pulivaal

"Pulivaal", a comedy thriller flick, is scheduled to release on 7 February. The film has Prasanna and Vemal playing the male leads, while Oviya and Ananya are cast as the female leads. The other cast members include Soori, Thambi Ramaiah and Swarnamalya.

"Pulivaal" is directed by Marimuthu and produced by Radhika Sarathkumar, Listin Stephen. The film's music is composed by NR Raghunanthan and editing is by Kishore Te.
