The latest promo of the upcoming episode of AMC's horror-drama series hints at what might turn up in the next instalment. The show's major characters are seen on their own and all of them are searching for something, most probably a way to get rid of the zombies once and for all.

The video shows the survivors who are travelling to South of the Border and have decided to journey on their own ways. While Travis and Chris are searching for a way to tackle the walkers together, Nick is headed to Tijuana in hope of finding allies who can assist him with fighting the zombies. Madison has taken shelter in an isolated hotel room and is planning her next move. They all are trying to find their own place in a world infected by the dead.

As reported by Gizmodo, Colman Domingo, who portrays the character of Victor Strand in the show, said, "The characters are really spun away from one another, and finding out who they are now that things have just changed dramatically."

In the recent trailer shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, Nick (Frank Dillane) was shown as being a part of a pro-zombie group who believes that the zombie "curse" is the secret way to an everlasting life. In the trailer, a member of the group can be seen sacrificing himself to the walkers as part of some ritual or ceremony.

"I'm trying to get to a safe place, or where there might be more people who empathise with the dead, or at least just don't go around killing them," Dillane said.

In the mid season finale, titled, "Shiva," after Strand shot Thomas in the head, her mother, Celia, kicked him out of the house. Thomas had turned into a zombie and Celia was keeping him under her basement as she was not able to part from him emotionally.

"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 will return on Aug. 21 on AMC.
