After the zombie apocalypse plagued the entire city of Los Angeles in Season 1 of AMC's horror drama series "Fear the Walking Dead," the survivors have taken refuge in the waters and Season 2 of the series will explore the adventures that await them.

Cliff Curtis, who plays the role of Travis, said that in the upcoming season of "Fear the Walking Dead," episodes will be fast-paced and will be more action-packed than Season 1.

As reported by the Huffington Post, Curtis said, "In Season 2, we all know what we are in for. We are out at sea, and we are not the only ones out there, basically. There's a whole bunch of people who have the same idea as us."

"I'm having a great time with the new script. There's no more slow burn. That's done with, and a lot more going on."

In the upcoming season, Travis will be seen trying his best to get over the loss of Lisa as he tackles numerous difficulties while surviving in a dangerous world hoarded by zombies. Explaining Travis' situation, Curtis said that even though he is still recovering, he knows well that there is no reason to dwell on the past now.

Curtis also explained that the in the upcoming season of the series, the people they were before the outbreak are now "irrelevant" and the characters "transform in ways you wouldn't necessarily see coming."

Talking about what to expect from the next season, Curtis said that Travis and the rest of survivors will be in a "war zone."

Recently, AMC has released several new photographs and character portraits from Season 2 of "Fear the Walking Dead" that will undoubtedly make the fans happy who are eagerly waiting for the next season of the series.

In the pictures, Nick ( Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) can be seen with worried faces while Travis and Madison are on an unknown land, seemingly preparing for a camping.

"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 will premiere April 10 on AMC.
