The audience were treated with two love stories, "Sanam Re" and "Fitoor," last week. Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur won hearts with their chemistry in "Fitoor," while Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat's "Sanam Re" garnered mixed reviews.

In a poll conducted by International Business Times India, the readers were asked to vote for the film whose love story touched their hearts more. Between "Sanam Re" and "Fitoor," 54.55% fans voted for the Katrina-Aditya starrer and 45.45% for Yami-Pulkit's film.

However, "Fitoor" got mixed response from the critics and thus, according to them, the film was average. The critics appreciated Tabu's performance and the cinematography of the film. "Sanam Re" failed to impress critics, but a few said Rishi Kapoor, who played Pulkit's grandfather, delivered a good performance.

The interesting bit is Divya Khosla Kumar's "Sanam Re," which also featured Urvashi Rautela, took away the trophy at the box office. The film opened better than Abhishek Kapoor's "Fitoor" and on Day 2, "Sanam Re" witnessed a good jump in certain places in India.

Interestingly, both films enjoyed good hype due to relationship rumours. "Fitoor" made headlines when Katrina and Ranbir Kapoor's break-up news came to light, while "Sanam Re" grabbed the viewers' attention due to Pulkit and Yami's rumoured affair. However, Pulkit reportedly confessed the dating rumour was a publicity stunt.
